How to create a clip group in InDesign.. the below image shows the applied clip group in illustrator.. can we clip a group in InDesign?

There is a similar thread posted earlier today where Laubender pointed out that probably the closest thing for a clipping mask for a group in InDesign would be to cut the group, then Paste Into a new frame representing the clipping mask.

You can clip frame content by making the (graphics) frame smaller than the content, and there are a number of variations of the ways this can be used. (For example, you can apply an effect to the graphic content and/or the actual frame, creating composite effects or having better control with one or the other.)

 

But ID does not have the advanced graphics feature of clipping that Illustrator does. Do any such effect in AI and import the graphic.
