Hola comunidad.
V1 (varible 1), M1 (variable 2), A1 (variable 3) y X1 (variable 4).
En la hoja 2 colocaré

Hi community,
I have to create a 180-page document.
Each page has 4 variables.
However, it's not possible to generate a master page where the variables update 180 times because each page has a particular design and they are not the same.
So, I have to manually input the 4 variables for each case on each of the 180 pages.
For example, on page 1, I'll input:
V1 (variable 1), M1 (variable 2), A1 (variable 3), and X1 (variable 4).
On page 2, I'll input:
V2 (variable 1), M2 (variable 2), A2 (variable 3), and X2 (variable 4).
Is there any way to do this without doing it manually?
Thank you very much!
V2 (varible 1), M2 (variable 2), A2 (variable 3) y X2 (variable 4).
Hay alguna forma de realizarlo, sin que sea manualmente?
Muchas gracias!

Can you provide screenshot of expected result? Not sure I get it.

Sure, Here I attach a photo of two pages as an example. As you can see, the structure of both is different. What I highlighted in color are the data that come from the variables. Previously, what I did was to place V1, V2, V3,... up to V9, and assemble the two sheets. When generating the combination, the sheets were repeated. But then it's a lot of work to place the calendars and other details that change according to the data. I thought it would be easier.😕"

The shortest way I would see this is having threaded text frames on your template (ex: [29] > [Diciembre] > [Sabado]) with a paragraph styles set with keep options to next frame.
Then you prepare a text file like:
29
Diciembre
Sabado
30…
And you import your text file inside the first frame. You will probably have some edits but most contents should be ok.

Loic.Aigon, thanks for your response.
Do you mean, use combinations and variables?
I think I don´t understand you very well.

In what form do you have your data?
The best would be 3x column spreadsheet.

Sorry for the delay, I've had a lot of work. YEs it's a spreadshee

Then you can import it as a 3x column table, set dedicated ParaStyles to each column - convert to text as Paragraphs - and do what @Loic.Aigon suggested.

Ok,
So here are more explanations. The idea is actually not to try automating much but to take advantage of native InDesign features such as:
- Keep options
- Grep Style
- Threaded text frames
- Smart Reflow
To achieve it:
1) Add threaded text frames on master pages
A frame for the date, one for the month, one for the day, all threaded (on two pages if double sided)
2) Prepare Paragraph and character styles.
The main ps style has to be set so:
- Keep options is set to start on next frame
Grep Style define character styles for each type of data (hecha, mes, dia)
3) Set data
With Excel or any app of your choice, prepare a list like:
01
Enero
Sabado
02
Enero
Domingo…
4) Override first threaded text frame on page 1
5) Paste your text.
If everything goes fine, you get your "automation" without a single line of code.

Loic, I apologize for the delay in my response. I truly appreciate your dedication and time in trying to solve my problem. Your response is a method I hadn't considered and that could be very useful in this particular project.
Thanks again, I will try it. 😊
