And if you do not see the color on your document, you need to ensure that the below highlighted option is set to "Show" and not "Hide".

When you define a new condition by choosing New Condition... from the Conditional Text panel, you can choose appearance and color:

Yes, the color I choose appears on the file but not on the panel. The panel

(with many conditions) is all gray.
