Hi, @cj_0477,
Peter is absolutely right! Also, if I understand your issue correctly, there’s a simple fix. Instead of leaving the list option to the 'default' setting, try creating a new list in the Bullets and Numbering dropdown. Once you do that, you’ll see two checkboxes, make sure "Continue numbers across stories" is checked. If you're working with multiple documents in a book, you can also check the other option to continue numbering across documents.

When you flow the text to the next pages, numbering continues as expected. Make sure the story is threaded properly.

Evening! I'm having the same issue except I'm trying to continue a number list onto a new page using Adobe Express. Is there a fix?

@Abhishek Rao -- The OP already set up heir document correctly (I tried). I don't know how they managed to restart the numbering on following pages.

@Peter Kahrel I'm not sure if you are referring to the uploaded document, it was at "default", so it wasn't "correct" per se.

As it should be. But that doesn't always apply to every document. @Abhishek Rao 's solution is the proper one for future documents the OP may create.
