Question

Convert PDF to an InDesign document (bug)

Hi everyone,

I have been playing with converting PDFs to InDesign; a new feature.

Many (but not all) of the graphic frames it generates have the yellow rounded-corner box widget frame adornment in the bottom-left of the frame; not in the upper-right of the frame. And yet the graphic frame is not rotated.

The Control Panel does not show the graphic frame as rotated, yet to get the yellow dot back to the proper position, you have to Flip Horizontal and also Rotate 90 CCW.

Anyone else seeing this? Possible bug?

Hi @MikeWitherell,

Thanks for sharing the details. I'd recommend going through this thread here: https://adobe.ly/4oB0g83 as it covers a similar issue and might give some insight. It is currently logged in as a bug and the team is working on it. I will keep posted on the progress.

Thanks,

Abhishek

I haven't used it too much. Is it happening with all files?

Hi Bob,

All my test files show this in an unpredictable occurrance. Some frames are ok, some are confusedly flipped and rotated.
