Corner option border error in eBook format

i'm working on an ebook in indesign, in which I have many textboxes describing images. To these text boxes I applied a double border called "End End" to which I then applied the "Indented" Corners option.

The error occurs when I export the book in ebook format, the edges of the frames are often cut off to the right and below.

If, on the other hand, I export to other formats, such as PDF, JPG, etc., the edges of the frames do not present any problems.

What is happening?
I wasted a lot of time looking for a solution, doing various tests, but I couldn't solve it, is it maybe a bug?

I absolutely have to deliver the ebook, how do I fix it?

Thank you

On the assumption, this is fixed layout, which epub reader are you proofing it in?

I tried it from the computer with Apple's "Books" and from my iPad

EPUB can only replicate what can be done in HTML/CSS. If an InDesign detail or feature isn't supported at that level, it can't be presented in EPUB. Put another way, EPUB is not PDF; you can't replicate every print detail and option in it.

EPUB typically supports borders, basic line types and corner radius. I am not sure how the above box would be passed from ID to EPUB except as a graphic. There is very little control over that process.

Fixed-layout EPUB is a difficult, largely obsolete format. Compounding this is that Apple's reader is nonstandard, so it's that much harder to figure out what might be going wrong.

I would change the text boxes to a simpler format, say single lines with rounded corners. Any other solution will involve some pretty deep investigation of the code, and a fix from there may or may not be readily possible.

This is a book that contains many images as well as text, so a fixed layout is your best bet. It will be a book to be published on Amazon.

As you can see from the image, the problem seems to be with the border, which in CSS would be a normal "Double".
As you can see it is represented, but it is as if it were cut
I see it like this also in Indesign's interactive EPUB preview.

Maybe as a quick fix you could expand like you do in illustrator, but I don't think indesign has such an option.

The quick fix would be to change to a simpler outline. I can't think of any simple way to determine the problem here, much less avoid or fix it.

Bear in mind, eBook is a generic term for the various digital book formats, which include PDF, FXL ePub, Reflowable ePub, InDesign's Publish Online and the in5 output. Each format has advantages (features) and disadvantages no one of them is perfect. Unless you have a specific reason for choosing FXL ePub you may be better off sticking with Interactive PDF.
