Creating a link to .docx in already designed document

I have set up my first chapter in InDesign. I would like to edit on an ongoing basis in MS Word.
It seems that WordsFlow is the ideal solution for this. But that requires that I have already linked the file.
Having already designet chapter 1, can I create a link between this and my word document or would I have to create the link at startup of the InDesign document?

If you are using WordsFlow you should be able to export an InDesign story as docx file.

Open that in Word and do your edits there. I'd suggest you look into the manual of WordsFlow.
