Creating a menu in InDesgin that will be displayed on tv

Hello

I'm creating a menu that will be displayed on a 55 inch tv in a large food hall.

What I'm having trouble with is what size do I make the file in InDesign?

Is it a 4K (3840 x 2160 pixel) display?

 

If so set up your document to the same pixel dimensions, and export to an image format at 72ppi, which will give you an image with matching pixel dimensions.

    Why don't you do a few tests to see what looks good?

      Most TVs have an aspect ratio of 16x9. As for type size, that would depend on viewing distance, use an easy to read font.
