how many numbers do you have in one list?

For a list of up to 9 bullets you could build your own font using the IndyFont script for InDesign.

You simply build the 9 glyphs from objects on 9 InDesign document pages.

If you need additional numbers like counting on with 10, 11, 12 etc.pp. it would get a bit more complicated.

Did not test this, but it should be possible with OpenType Ligatures or Positional Forms using IndyFont.

1. Choose a font for the bullets.
2. Create a paragraph style
3. Go to the bullets and autinumbering panel
4. Select bullets
5. Choose the character style.
6. Add a new bullet symbol from the glyphs grid
7. Click ok

Apply that Paragraph Style
