Hi, Can you explain with a bit more details what you are trying to achieve?

  • You have data in a csv file
  • You are trying to create a data merge in InDesign
  • Some characters do not appear as expected in InDesign

Can you share a screenshot of your data and the result in InDesign

Can you confirm that the font you use in InDesign contains all the character you need. You can check using the Glyphs panel.

Thanks for the screenshots, your question makes sense.

Be careful when sharing private data like this.

Can you confirm which font you are using to format that 'bangla' text? I think the font you are using does not support the characters you need.

You can highlight it, open the Glyphs panel and scroll through the fonts you have until you find one that supports the correct characters. Otherwise, you might need to install a new font that will work for this situation.
