Is it possible to align a text to the base grid on the descending line of the font?

Hi @Alessia29296961fhwq , In the text frame’s Text Frame Options>Baseline Options you can customize the start of the First baseline via Min. Here with the Baseline Grid and Leading set to 12pts, I have the Offset set to Ascent with the Min set to 10.5 pts:

But this method doesn't work if the text is aligned to the base grid line right?

You can shift the text in the paragraph style.
