Diacritic characters in InDesign on a mac

Hi All- Does anyone know how to type in diacritic characters in InDesign on a Mac? I need the 'a' with a small dot below and I cannot find a key code or a soulution online anywhere.

Hi @defaultcdcy4ro18p7h It's going to depend on your fonts to get this (ạ) character in the same family as the other text, but if it isn't available, you can find a substitute. Look in the Glyphs panel under the Type menu. You can cut and paste the symbol from another source into the Glyphs search box to get the results by font type.
