Difference between Interactive PDF Export Layout options

Can someone explain the differences to all these different layout settings??

I'm a total newb, and I cannot for the love of God find out what they mean. Thank you!

It's how it may be viewed in Acrobat after exporting

 

Single page will flick through each page separately

Single page continous scrolls through the pages

Two Up facing will give you a view of Page 1 and Page 2 together - P3 and P4 together and so on

Two Up continuous - same as above

Two up cover page - will show page 1 on it's own then page 2 and 3 - page 3 and 4 on it's own - like a book.

Two up continous cover page - same as above

And in addition to Eugene’s excellent summary, I personally always select Height under the View field, so the viewer doesn't (normally) have to resize the page.

These options, as noted, don't affect how InDesign lays out the PDF. Only how Acrobat or Acrobat Reader layout the screen. But it's important to realise that most people will view PDF files with other apps or browsers, and in these cases the layout options are just ignored.
