I'm trying to access the handles/direction lines to edit the curve of a cuved path I made with the pen tool in InDesign. However, no handles are visible. When I click to add an anchorpoint to the curved path, handles are briefly visible for the new anchorpoint but quickly disappear, never to return. Please help?

I recorded a video of what's happening:

You might come out of Preview Mode and work in Normal Mode. Preview Mode hides all things that do not print.

  1. Change the Layer colour to a different, better visible colour.
  2. Click with the diect selection tool somewhere where no object is and select again.
