I'm trying to open a document, but this appears, then nothing loads, and my document doesn't open. Not sure what's happening?

What version of InDesign? What operating system?

Is the file stored locally or are you using Dropbox, OneDrive or similar cloud storage? If so, is the file full synced to your harddrive?

What operating system? Just this file or all files? If you copy the file to your hard drive will it open?

By operating system, what do you mean? Just this one file. I don't have a hard drive.

Sequoia 15.6.1. All our files are stored on a server. This is the only place the files are. What do you mean by hard drive?

The File has zero bytes, which I'm assuming means it hasn't saved properly?

You said "all our files are stored on a server". It means it's unlikely that your file has anything to do with your Adobe account.

This also usually implies that you have an IT department that manages your network and runs appropriate backups. They should be able to retrieve a working copy of the file from their backup.

Yes, it basically means there's no file. There's nothing to open. Why it happened is a different question...
