Is there a copyright issue with dreamtime photos and online publishing? Every placed photo shows up except for dreamtime.com (stock) photos.  They appear with a blue question Mark box.

I'd go with Steve's suggestion of renaming files if you have to simply get this job over the line. However, renaming the links means the links need to be relinked to the correct filename, and this can introduce a new error.

I have used a script from Kasyan Servetsky to rename all links quickly that renames the links based on the location on the page and the page number they're on. See either my write-up here: https://colecandoo.com/2017/07/23/quick-tip-rename-all-links-in-an-indesign-file/  or kasyan's script directly: http://www.kasyan.ho.com.ua/batch_rename_and_relink.html

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

What format are the Dreamtime stock photos placed in InDesign? InDesign creates the file that is viewed in Publish Online.

They are CMYK Jpegs at 200 dpi.

I also tried saving them as RGB -- they still don't work.

I did find a solution -- if I rename them, and remove "dreamtime" from the names, they work. (But I don't have time to rename hundreds of photos.) -- So I'm thinking it might be a copyright issue?

It's very quick to rename files in Adobe Bridge which comes with InDesign and the Creative Cloud. Use Tools > Batch Rename.

Run tasks from Tools menu, batch rename files, and auto-stack HDR and panorama images

You probably have something like ".dreamtime" as an extension, it needs to be changed to .jpg and replaced in InDesign
