Editing Template

New Here ,

Hello,

I am currently using an InDesign template to create a book. I am trying to adjust the words written on the side of the template on every page of the document (similar to the page numbers) to have my specific project title but I cannot figure out how to change this text. (see included image).Screen Shot 2018-11-30 at 8.14.03 AM.png

See that tiny dotted line around text? That means text is placed on a Mater page. Open Pages panel, go to Master page/spread and edit text there.

Hi jhampt4 ,

look also about a missing font in that document.

The text on the master has a pink indicator that glyphs or even the whole font is missing, that is applied to the text.

Your active preflight should have a red dot detailed error messages.

Best,
Uwe
