I'd like to add a few more questions that will help us help you:

• What version of the MacOS are you using with your system?
• What is the font you're having issues with?
• Where did you get the font from?
• How long have you had the font?
• Do you use any third-party font management utilities?
• Has it always been unavailable in Adobe programs? Or has this cropped up some time after you installed the font?

I'm sure that the last thing you want to hear when you're looking for answers is a bunch more questions. But the answers to these questions will help us sleuth your problem with you, and hopefully come up with a solution that will work with you.
