Question

Empty images Indesign publish online

Hi,

Some vectors pasted across from illustrator stopped displaying when published online from and indesign doc. Have tried pasting in again and linking as ai files, sometimes this improves things but usually at the cost of losing another image like a linked logo... it shows an empty box where the image should be displayed, any ideas?

When you plan to publish online, save the AI files as SVG and place them as LINKED files.

Open vectors, what you have, are mostly at the end of the document, separated path by path and will not make sense any more.

reluctant to do that but will try, we've had issues with SVGs scaling down when publishing online. most noticeably when logos are placed in, they will display at a much smaller size...

Take care that the artboard has the same size as the ontent has.
