This Funktion doesn't work. A simple copy/paste from Indesign (cmd+c and cmd+p) to illustrator is working and it retains the format. But the new Funktion with strg/cmd+c has no effect.

Can you please let us know what happens when you do this?

How are you copying it - with the frame or copying the text itself?

Can you follow the help file here to see if you have any improvement in your experience

Hi,

of course I have tried all the possibilities. Generally the key combination ctrl/cmd+c and p does not work. I have set the preferences as in the Illustrator tips. By the way, please pay attention to the translation in the German version. The menus mentioned do not exist like this.

Die neue Funktion geht nur über die Beschreibung aus einem anderen Post. Dabei muss in Indesign folgendes eingestellt sein.

I'm sorry - I cannot read the text in the screenshot, I don't speak that language.

I mean the option "All Information" instead of "Text only".

Hi  @Udo26653803iy4o  ,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Will it be possible for you to share a small video of the issue and share it with us? We'll also need the version of Illustrator & the Operating System. We'll try our best to assist you with this.

Regards

Rishabh

  1. Look into InDesign’s preferences
  2. Go to the section “Clipboard Handling”
  3. Make changes according to your needs:
