Error Code: 6

I have an InDesign file that was a proposal that I was working in on Friday and it crashed. Worked fine all day, had it open all day then closed it and got the following error - could not complete your request because of a database error indesign error code 6. Can someone help? Is there something bigger going on with my Mac?

Sounds like a file corruption, save a copy as an IDML file and see if that sorts out the issue.
(Did you make any back up copies?)

I did not save any back up copies. I just kept exporting it into different pdf versions instead. Saved as an IDML and it gave me the same error.
