Hi
I receive this message when I open documents in InDesign. It applies to all types of documents and all types of file formats. Is there anyone who can help with what I should do? All the Best Kirsten

InDesign cannot OPEN a TIFF image. If you're trying to put it on your page, you need to choose File > Place.

I think if you're trying to use the File > Open command on a TIFF image, you would get that message.

I know that 😉 - the problem is not that. The issue is that I have InDesign documents where images, graphics suddenly do not update, and the error message appears. The actual link paths are correct, but all graphics and images need to be re-imported. If the document is saved, closed and opened again, the problem persists.

Are you working in a Dropbox or OneDrive (or similar cloud service) folder? If so, make sure that any smart sync or cloud only features are turned off so the files are fully synced to your local harddrive.
