Hi there,

Sorry for the delay. As mentioned above, looks like the file got corrupt/ damaged. There are multiple factors that can lead to file corruption, however, we can take a look and see if the file can be repaired. I am hopeful that the issue is resolved by now. If not, please email your file to idfile@adobe.com & we will take a look at the file.

If the file is larger than 10 Mb, you can upload to Creative Cloud account (or Dropbox) and send us the document link.

Regards,

Srishti

Which version of InDesign and OS?

I couldn't open your document – I think it's corrupt, you'll need to revert to an earlier back-up version.

Send a copy of the document at the following email, Adobe engineers might look at it and try to recover it

If you want a paid solution and not wait for Adobe to get back you can try the following

There may be some hope for this document -- I can see there is a lot of content still there. As said above, Adobe might be able to fix it for you.

It seems to me there is a lot of graphic data in it, and not much text. The file size also seems to indicate this. Does the file contain a lot of embedded graphic files? (I.e., not linked to an external file.) Mind that copying something and then pasting inside InDesign also embeds the graphic content in full. It is generally advised to not do this, and always link to external files. It may or may not have anything to do with this particular crash, but it sure is a tell-tale sign.
