Export to EPUB ignores auto-lettered and -numbered indents/tabs

A publisher-provided MSWord manuscript used auto-lettered and numbered paragraphs, but after importing and applying paragraph styles in InDesign then exporting to EPUB, spacing is wonky in the paragraphs with roman numerals and letters. Below is InDesign page then the same Sigil page. I tried revising CSS but not sure I'm choosing the correct code to change.

Abhishek, sorry for my delay in responding. Please mark this "solved." I have found that applying Export Tags and Classes to even regular body text has helped retain the correct text size. Then in CSS I reduce the indent/margin for auto-numbered and -bulleted text portions.

Thanks again for sharing the recording. I really appreciate you taking the time to walk us through your workflow.

That said, the video isn't clear enough for us to fully view the export settings or the details of your layout and EPUB output. To better understand what's happening, could you please share a clearer screen recording, along with screenshots of the specific sections in the EPUB export window you're using?

It would also be very helpful if you could include a screenshot or snippet of the CSS or HTML output you're seeing in Sigil, especially the part where the spacing appears off. This will help us dig into the issue more accurately with the product team.

Thanks again for sharing the screenshots and context. To help us take a closer look, could you please confirm the version of InDesign you're currently using along with your operating system details?

It would also be great if you could share a short screen recording showing your EPUB export process, particularly the export settings you're using. That will help us understand what might be affecting the layout during the conversion.

Additionally, could you package the affected InDesign file using the steps here: Package files, and share it with us? If the file is confidential, feel free to send it via DM using a public cloud link like Google Drive or Dropbox.

Abhishek, thanks for responding so soon. I can't share the file, but I'm using Adobe InDesign 2025 for Mac (Sequoia 15.5). Included here is a screenshot of the InDesign paragraph style settings then the Text portion of the export to EPUB window.
