export to pdf

Hi can somebody help me with this problem.

I used several images in an InDesign document: https://we.tl/t-aLwMqLwH6l

I did an export to a PDF: https://we.tl/t-70QS3a4a98

I used the PDF in an other program so users can automaticely chose their image and change it.

But image 1 isn't an image anymore so the program can't change it in an image.

Image 1 is a jpg and iamge 2 is a jpg with the same settings.

I opened the pdf  in acrobat reader to see what happened with the images.

Than I saw that my image 1 wasn't an image anymore (it changed in a vector/graphic)...

But my image 2 is still an image...
How is that even possible?

I don't get what you're trying to do either.

That being said, looking at your InDesign document, your image 1 is an illustrator .ai file, and not a jpg. I think you placed the wrong file there by accident.

What do you mean by that?
Your PDF has no link or any kind of connection to your InDesign doc.

A PDF is a ”finished” format, it's not for editing. You can produce an Interactive PDF where users can complete text fields but it can't be enabled so the use can insert images.
