Extned linework to wider in about 4-5 pixels

Hello everyone, I don’t have much experience with Adobe applications and could use your help. I need to modify an existing PDF file by widening the linework by about 3-4 pixels. Could someone guide me on how to make these changes?

What, exactly, are you trying to accomplish?

My gut is telling me that your problem is output scaling.

It's not an indesign question unless it was created in InDesign - and it wasn't it was created in Illustrator

Do you have access to the original Illustrator file?
If you don't you might have some success in opening in Illustrator and making the changes there. 

The whole PDF seems entirely made of Vector - not Pixels. 

Not sure how else to help you on this one.
