Question

Extra window not showing on second screen

I can't drag a window on a second screen since the latest upgrade. The window simply disappears.

That's super anoying when you want to copy paste from other docs.

Does anyone has the same problem? How can I solve this?

Hey @wmodist,

That sounds like a hassle!

Since you mentioned it’s after the latest update, just to confirm, are you on InDesign 20.1? Also, what macOS version are you running?

Quick check: is Stage Manager enabled in the Control Center? If it is, try turning it off and see if that makes a difference.

Additionally, if you can, record the issue using your mobile and share it with us. Seeing what’s happening will definitely help us figure this out faster!

Best,
Abhishek

Hey Abishek, thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it's 20.1. Apple sequoia 15.1.1

Stage Manager is off… I've added the film.

The only way to acces the second screen is to quit & restart.

1 more thing. I've got two extra screens (so monitor scren + 2 external ones).

Thx!

Stefaan

Hi @wmodist

Thanks for sharing the video. I tested this on my end but couldn't replicate it with my external monitors. It works fine here. Would you mind updating the OS version to 15.2 and see if it fixes the issue? Let me know how it goes.
