Extracting swatch colour values as text

A PLEE FOR HELP!

I've searched and searched and can't seem to find an answer!

I'm looking for a way to export RGB/CMYK and HEX colour values from indesign/illustrator as text, for adding into brand guidelines. I'm currently doing this manually and it takes ages (and has a lot of room for error)!

Surely there's an easy fix of exporting the data somehow, if you know, please help?

RoboHelp is a product, not an automated help system. 🙂

I will move your post to the InDesign forum. Your link will still be good.

Hi Peter,

Thanks so much, I've never posted in here before, so sorry I got the wrong area!

Let's hope someone can help me over in that InDesign forum!

Sammy

You can try the script in this thread, the source colors have to be Lab, i.e. Pantone Solid colors
