Hi,
Was mache ich falsch?
Gruß
Udo

I have had this happen occasionally and have found that it is usually caused by the edges of a text or graphic frame overlapping the area of the image being sampled. This makes it not possible for the eyedropper to sample the image but instead it samples the unfilled text or graphic frame. Try locking all of the frames that are on top of the image first (except for any that you want the sampled color applied to) and see if that helps.

Hi Udo,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand you are facing issues while picking object properties using the Eyedropper tool in InDesign, however, to understand the exact issue I would request if you can share a few more details like:

The only thing I can think of, is that you're too close to the border of the photo, so you're picking up the object's properties, in stead of the color within the photo. Or... maybe there's another frame (empty but with a border) on top of the photo ?

Hi,
thanks for your answer. It seems that it might have to something with an empty but border frame on top of both, the image and the backgroundframe underneath some text in a different area.

Hi, thanks for your answer.
It seems that it really might have something to do with an empty but border frame on top of both: the image and the backgroundframe underneath some text in a different area. I have reordered everything, switched all layers on and off and: tada! It has worked again! I test tried it also with text and yes working again!
Thanks!
