When attempting to export the PDF file on Windows 10 22H2 using InDesign, I encounter the following error: "Failed to Export the PDF file.Possible cause of failure is present on spread with page number "1"."
I've found solutions to this issue on forums, but they were all for Mac users. I'm seeking guidance on how to resolve this on Windows.
It's telling you where the problem is. Try exporting the rest of the file without that page.

You have to "divide and conquer" in order to find the culprit.
Go to the first page - delete rest of the pages.
Then delete top/bottom half

You have to "divide and conquer" in order to find the culprit.
Go to the first page - delete rest of the pages.
Then delete top/bottom half - or left/right - of this page and export.
If you don't have an error - then the problem is in the half that you've deleted.
You have to keep deleting in half till you get to the last element.

Hello -
I am having major export issues, even after deleting the "Spreads with errors", even after saving as an IDML and reopening, even after running updates on my Indesign app to make sure I am up to date. HELP!

I have a 28 page (14 spread) document that I have been working in and all of a sudden in the past few days I started getting errors on export. Similar to screenshot below...sometimes it also says "Invalid PNG dropped in" even if there are no PNGs on the spread.
I have tried deleting the "problematic" spreads entirely...then the "problem" seems to move to a new spread. I have rebuilt the document spread by spread and when I get to the end and go to export, I start having similar issues.
I have resized my images, redropped them in, reformatted them....all to no luck. Most of the spreads are simple text boxes with a few images...no links are missing, no fonts are missing, etc.
I even tried resaving and renaming the document as IDML and then reopening it...no luck.
The overall document is only 30 MB so it is not a memory issue on my computer.
I am really stressed and fed up and I can't seem to find an answer. Any help from you or Adobe customer service would be appreciated!
