New Here ,

Hallo!
Vielen Dank!!!

Hi Daniela,

This is a common issue with InDesign-generated PDFs. Paragraph borders and underlines applied via styles can be exported as graphic elements, which aren't tagged or marked as artifacts.

You can fix this by opening the exported PDF in Acrobat Pro, finding those elements in the Content panel, and right-clicking to set them as artifacts.

If accessibility is the main focus, consider avoiding decorative borders or underlines and use simpler styling or spacing.

Hope that helps!

Thanks very much for your answer!!

But I have further questions 🙂

How would this work exactely?:

„Alternatively, use Preflight to automatically mark untagged graphics as artifacts.“

I have 190 elements, I don't want to correct them all manually, also because I maybe have to export the PDF again, when I have to correct or change things.
So, this would not be a solution.

Thanks!!
