file size changes after saving new copy without doing anything

file size changes after saving a new copy without doing anything, literally nothing changes.

I had 23 MB file after opening it , save as ... at the same folder the file became 13 MB !!

I tried it on different files and every time each file drops to almost the half.

Does someone have explanation for this ?

InDesign documents accumulate quite a lot of rubbish over time, and saving as clears it. For this reason, I use a 'Save As Same Filename' script assigned to Cmd-Opt-S, and use it whenever I've finished work on a document.
