i have a small text file (no images, single page) that's on dropbox. it's 377k. when i copied it to my hard drive it says it's 377k but if you open the info panel it says 376,832 bytes (Zero bytes on disk). this file won't open on my desktop or on dropbox. i have updated indesign to the latest version and i get unknown file format or plug in etc.

any ideas on how to open it?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing version of the OS & InDesign?

I'd request disabling the Smart Sync on Dropbox and let us know if it helps you out.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh

thank you all for your replies, the problem seems to be a dropbox problem as i had issues with photoshop files as well, so not an indesign problem.
