Since updating to the latest version of indesign 2020 Ive had mulitple issues with fonts, these fonts are installed but sometimes (now) when we open the documents it says the fonts are missing. I can open another document using the same fonts, and says they are there, it seems to be the helvectica family at the moment that is most effected, it was PT serif. Ive 20 years at the desk with indesign but this is driving me nuts as there seems no rhyme or reason why its happening, any ideas out there. Sometimes if you packaged the docs when you open them its fine, sometimes not?
Thanks in advance
Hi Davida,
hm… ttc fonts? A collection of TrueType fonts.
Could be a new bug with InDesign 2020 version 15.
Maybe this is already reported here:
Major System Font Issue!

Do you use T1 or OTF fonts?
Are they installed on the OS or in the package only?

These fonts are on the system, been using them for years, they are ttc fonts and Ive had no issues until recently. I work in print and multi media, if you can imagine two separate features in one book or magazine, I can ope one and the fonts wil be there, the other and they say they are missing. Its a head mash.
Thanks
