Font missing / not picking up

I'm having a issue with newly updated InDesign CC 13.1 not seeing the font which I placed in both Font Book and in the folder located Applications/Adobe InDesign CC 2018/Fonts.

In previous versions of Indd I'm sure that it was picking up said font from the Font folder. Is there any reason that the latest update would be any different?

I've checked back to previous documents that also used the same font and it is now missing from those files too.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

As per your query font which was working fine with previous versions its not working anymore with latest InDesign CC.

Please share some more details like

Operating system

Was it a licensed font?

Would you be able to install that font again if we remove it?

Also, if you see that font in font book, try to validate it and check.

I have successfully removed then reinstalled the font and all is fine now.
