Font no longer supported

I got a message on my InDesign file saying Type 1 fonts will no longer be supported in 2023. What can I use instead of Adobe Garamond Pro that won't change the look of the page?

The message popped up due to an error for a while. If you update to the very last version, it shows onky up, if you have really T1 in use.

Hi Anna,

if you go to menu Type > Find Font… and there is no Type 1 font listed, number of Type 1 fonts is zero, you are good to go.

Legend

If your font's name has the word "Pro" or "Std" in it, then it's an OpenType font and is font. You don't have to do anything.

However, if the name is only Adobe Garamond, then it's probably a PostScript Type1 font and won't be supported next year. You should upgrade the font to the Pro or Std version, which is available from Adobe Fonts.

Thanks, that's clearer. I did use a Pro font (Adobe Garamond Pro), so the message that popped up was confusing. Meanwhile I found Garamond Premier Pro that looks similar.
