Font Problem only on InDesign

Community Beginner ,
Apr 19, 2022 Apr 19, 2022

Hello,

I have a font that used to work well but now no longer works in InDesign (it's the DIN Offc. font).

InDesign told me that the font is not installed, but it is. I also tried placing the font in Library > Application Support > Adobe > Font file and in Application > InDesign > Font file but that doesn't work either. I re-installed InDesign restarted my computer but nothing worked.

On Illustrator the font works perfectly. My other fonts also work.

Anyone have an idea what I can do? Thank you!

"Anyone have an idea what I can do?"

Hm. Yes, go back to InDesign 17.1 or 17.0.1. Details:

Some people are having difficulty seeing particular fonts in InDesign 17.2.

Back down to 17.1 by uninstalling 17.2 and installing the earlier version from the Creative Cloud app:

Thanks a lot for your answers. It works again with version 17.0.1. I hope Adobe will solve the problem quickly because the font that does not work is our Corporate Font…
