Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. In addition to the helpful information shared earlier, I'd recommend checking out this help article to know how you can resolve font related issues within InDesign. Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

if you have licence to these fonts, you can download them to your seystem,

you are using windows, simply copy them to your fonts folder.

Version of InDesign (exactly)? Operating system (exactly)?

I notice (most?) of these appear to be PostScript Type 1 fonts, a very old font format. Usually the problem would be solved by installing the correct version of these fonts in the proper location in your operating system. They can't be magically "added to the default font list."

Also, Type 1 fonts require that both parts of the font ("screen" fonts and "printer" fonts) be installed. An old and once common problem is not having both of the types installed in that location. Are these fonts you actually possess and have a license for?

Thanks for the looking into this issue.

The version of Indesign CC 2018 and OS Windows 7 (32 bit).

According to our understanding, these fonts need to be available in Adobe Creative Cloud Typekit (https://fonts.adobe.com). Is it possible to add or request to add these type of fonts?

No, you need to buy them and install them.

Adobe has specific agreements with a small number of font foundries to include their typefaces in Creative Cloud; the big established foundries have their own subscription services to sell (e.g. Skyfonts) and they're not about to give up on the revenue.
