Fonts not showing online?

I'm working on files in Indesign, I've shared the files for review via Creative Cloud (online link) but none of the fonts are showing up. Everyone has the fonts installed (not Adobe typekit fonts), how do I fix this? If I can't get the fonts showing then I'll have to look at Sharepoint or alternative software to Adobe CC.

It's not that everyone needs the font installed.

It's more that that font likely doesn't have embed permissions - and therefore cannot be displayed.

What font is it? Is it a free font? Where did come from?

You'll likely need to contact the Font vendor and request the font that has the embed permissions.

Fonts are software, and often free/cheap fonts, only allow for personal use and have no option to embed into another format - like PDF - or another format - and often don't allow to be printed.

I'm having the same issue even with Adobe fonts, exactly the same.

Any font I use is replaced by some sort of Segoe font.

Hi Mike. Is when I share to executive team for review. Not to designers on my team.

Thanks for your support!

Hi, Kayo ( @Kayo Gonzalez ),

if it's for review why not share a PDF instead of InDesign files?

Regards

Stephan
