Form Field Errors

Community Beginner ,
Sep 18, 2017 Sep 18, 2017

I am trying to make a PDF with interactive text fields, but every time my client or I try typing in the text fields in the PDF, the text boxes disappear. In other words, when the text boxes are not selected, they show up as white, but when selected they will become transparent. The text itself will be visible, but not the actual box.

My client has also requested to have a text wrap within the Text field. Is this at all possible?Whenever we try typing within the field, the text does not seem to wrap. I have checked the "multiline" option, but is this the extent of what I can do?

Best,
Erin

Make the fields with a white fill in InDesign and they will not disappear when typed in in Acrobat. Text wrap will not work.

There is a workaround for a Text Wrap that would be done in Acrobat. It would involve creating multiple text forms instead of one text form (with multiple lines). Each form field would be positioned accordingly. Then a script that will allow the text to flow from form field to form field.
