If I have form fields in table cells (i.e. convert table cell to graphic cell, select graphic cell, add "text field" via "Buttons and Forms" palette) or if I have fields nested within another field nested in a table cell then the form fields cannot be added to the Articles panel for ordering purposes - they're simply not recognised as existing - cannot be dragged-and-dropped, cannot be selected and added with the "add" button.
Also: the Object->Interactive->Set Tab Order function brings up a dialog which does list any table cells that contain text fields, but does NOT list any fields that in nested frames.
Conversely, if I create a document where I just have all fields in separate frames that are not organised in any way (not nested, not inline, not in tables, just thrown on the page), then everything is hunky-dory - they can be added to articles, they are all listed in the tab-order dialog. However, this is not a solution, as I want to structure the fields in tables for layout purposes.
Am I missing something or is this an Indesign bug or lack of foresight?

adding to this post: If I cut a table (containing form 'text fields" in cells) and paste it into another frame on the same page, then the fields from this table are no longer listed in the tab order dialog.
