geöffnetes InDesign Dokument nicht sichbar

Hallo!

Hi @alina_5703,

Thanks a lot for sharing all the details, and I'm sorry to hear that resetting the preferences didn't solve the issue for you. Could you please confirm the exact version of InDesign 2025 you're using, for example, 20.4 or 20.4.1 or any other? Also, it would be helpful to know the details of your macOS version.

In addition to what you've already tried, I suggest renaming the CEP and UXP folders. First, rename the CEP folder to CEP.old from this location on Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe. If that doesn't help, please also rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from these locations on Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe and \~/Library/Application Support/Adobe.

Please try these steps and let me know how it goes.

I'll be happy to continue troubleshooting with you and look forward to your update!

Ja, die Einstellungen zurückzusetzen (und den Arbeitsbereich) hat funktioniert!

Danke für die Tipps! Jetzt kann ich mit InDesign arbeiten... 🙂

Hi there,

Sorry about the trouble. I would like to know if the steps suggested above by @kglad worked for you? If not, I would request you to share a few more details like:

  • The exact version of InDesign
  • Are you able to see workspace & tools in old documents?
  • Full Screenshot of the screen after creating a new document
  • Confirm if the Application Frame under Windows menu is checked.
  • Does resetting workspace (Windows menu > Workspace > Reset Workspace) helps to resolve the issue?

I will be looking forward to your response.

Hi

I have a similar problem and I did the "reset my preferences" but it did not solf the issue.

I can not open a new document and also not old ones. There comes only one small menu when I try to open anything which you can see in my screenshot on the bottom. If I click on any of these and try to do an action nothing happens. But ehen I want to close the program it asks me if I want to safe the unnamed document. It is Adobe InDesign 2025, I also just updated it again to be sure it is the current one. Closing the porgram did not help either.

Looking forward to receiving support to solv this isse.
