I am working on a cookbook - lots of numbers and fractions in the text. Today, all my numbers started appearing in superscript. I checked the following - Character panel, paragraph styles and character styles. I do not have superscript turned on anywhere. How do I fix this? It;s a real problem. I've tried deleting the numbers and retyping them - doesn't work. I can't see anything in the story editor. Thank you.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the InDesign forum so that proper help can be offered.

Thanks for doing that Peru Bob. I couldn't figure out how to post in the Indesign section. I did try. Thanks for your help.

can you show up a screenshot?
from where you get the text? if you imported the text drom word with its style and formats or not?
can you show the character style?
i think it based on a character style already made by word.

Thank you! This solved my problem. I had the incorrect grep code.
It should be \d+/\d+
(I had \d\d)
Very helpful. Thank you!

maybe, as in my screenshot, you have grep style applied in your paragraph style
