GIF Not Looping When Published Online via InDesign

Hi all,

 

I have a gif that is not looping when I publish it to an online link-- it starts playing and then stops at the last frame. 

None of the other gifs in the deck are affected-- this has never happened before. Does anyone have any guidance? Thanks!

Don't use gif as it is not a good file type and animation from InDesign is not supported or bad supported for online publising.

Isn't looping property set in the gif itself? 

 

So - are you sure your gif is "configured" to loop? Like your other gifs?

    Hello @Mercedes35657337u7gs,

    That does seem strange. Would you mind checking if this GIF plays in a loop when previewing in a different application? If so, kindly share a sample file so we can check it.

    We're having an issue where the gifs no longer work when published online period, however they worked in the past. Did adobe remove this function all together?
