I am trying to insert and run gif's in my 'interactive pdf,' but Leo is not able to raise his glass.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Interactive PDF has never supported animated GIF images. Sorry.

Another question, when clicking epub preview in indesign the gif works.
So, in theory, I can use gifs, but need to load it as an epub.
Is epub from adobe?

If you want to produce InDesign documents that include animations etc, that are easy to produce and work on most devices, have a look at InDesign's Publish Online (only available on InDesign CC2015 upwards).

The option 'publish' is very nice. The gifs work automatically. But, when pressing [Esc] the animations stop. Do you might know how to 'undo' [Esc] and let the animations run again?

You can "loop" them or get them to play 1 or more times.

As already pointed out animated GIF is unsupported in PDF. This conversation has pretty much run its course so I'm going to lock it. If you have something else you need help with please start a new conversation.
