GPU and M1 Mac Mini with Studio Display issues

Community Beginner ,

Hi –

I have a Mac Mini M1 with a Studio Display and have odd screen tearing issues when GPU is turned on or off. I am surprised because I just upgraded to the SD after having the same issues with a 4K LG screen and thought the LG may have been the problem. Obviously not so. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to stop this happening or does InDesign not work properly with Apple silicon with GPU turned on?

Many thanks

As you can see from the bug report here https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/46087516-m1-mac-graphic... this has been an ongoing issue with the M1 chip and InDesign versions prior to 18.1. If you have upgraded your InDesign and the problem is still occurring then you might want to add your input to the aforementioned bug report.

Thanks for this, I did search around quite a bit and found lots of comments around the same issue stretching back fro years. Lots of the comments were from people using Intel Macs, PCs with different graphics cards etc so just wanted to check it's still an issue with the current Apple silicon GPUs but it looks like it still is?
