Guides not working on certain pages in InDesign

So I've been working on this file for years, I was the one that set it up but today for some reason when I was pulling a guide from the ruler it did not stay. I check if I had the "Hide Guides" option on but that was not the case. Then I realized this was happening in certain pages. All of these pages are part of Parent A, and again, in some pages it's working, in some others it's not.

In the image you can see the guides are working on Page 16 but not on page 17 even when the Show Guides option is on.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Test to see if this only happens in this file. If so, especially since you've used it a long time, it could have picked up some corruption. You can often remove corruption by saving the file as an IDML file. Choose File > Save As > InDesign CS4 or Later [IDML]. Then open the IDML file in InDesign and see if the problem goes awayl

If you're having the problem in other files, you may get success by restoring InDesign preferences and caches. Here's how:

I had this exact same problem. Your recco to backsave and re-open in Indd 25 made them show up again. Thank you so much!
