Hello,

Im working on Indesign CC and i need to put a text in Hebrew, the problem is that the text must be reading from the right to the left and i don't how to do that. There was a button before to do that but it doesn't exist anymore (or it's hidding somewhere). So how do you convert a text in Hebrew ?

Thank you,

Clément, the Frenchy graphist

Hi Clement,

You would need to install the Hebrew version of InDesign and then you would be able to write "Right to Left". Please check below links for installation and workflow:

This is not a solution. To have to install a completly difefrent versuon of a software just to deal with some few areas of text that are in hebrew is not a soltion. It's a big problem and nightmare. Obvioulsy there are many English books that need to be typeset with the an occasional arabic or hebrew line of text and it's silly to have to downalod an entire software just for that. This should be seamlessly intergrated into all version fo the software and easly switch or auto recognizes that it is hebrew text.

You can use the Hebrew i.e. ME version of InDesign to work with both English as well as Hebrew text.
