HELP indesign flashes back every time I open it

My indesign flashes back every time I open it. I can only use it at the moment by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.
My computer is a mac mini with macOS 13.0.

The latest Ventura is macOS 13.6.x.

13.0 is most certainly NOT the newest. It was the original release.
