Hello, I have an brochure almost ready, it only needs to be prepared and exported for print.

But I have a problem with Print Booklet function. It seems to be bugged, important parts are greyed out and when used, it makes a mess.

So I need to manually rearrange pages for print. But I have problem with pagination. Basically, if I rearrange pages, the numbering is going to change and numbers of pages will be all over the place.

How do I lock these page numbers to existing pages? So it doesn't change, when rearranging pages?

Thanks for every answer.

Unless your specific printer is asking for this (they shouldn't be this day and age), they will want your pages as individual pages. Export your PDF accordingly. THEY will impose it as they require.

Imposing is the taskof the printer, not the Designer's task.

Choose print from Indesign and set your printer to your specs needed and print from there.
